    This picture booklet was printed in 1912 titled "Views on and About Mt Tom and the Mt Tom Railroad". On the highest peak it was very inaccessible at the time and a railroad was built to the top. The railroad operated from 1897 and closed in 1936 and there is almost no existence  of it now. This book has some color pictures of the views from above and the train full of people, at the top was the summit house, cafe and pavilion. Has more black and white photos. Total of 30 pages. All pages and over firmly attached.
