Description

This pair of tiger eye collar studs has been in my family since the late 1800s.
These have very unusual spring loaded clips that straighten to go through the button hole and then they snap open to hold securely. The mechanism is described in US Patent 305137, Sept 16, 1884 by Charles G Bloomer.
The tiger eye stones have beautiful reflective qualities and both studs are in very nice condition.
You may want to clean up the rose gold, it is in original antique condition at present.
