Antique GE 1/30th HP Electric Motor

Description

Very nice GE 1/30th H.P. 110 Volt electric motor 1425 RPM driving an eight segment switch.
I powered it up on 115VAC.  It runs very smooth and very quiet.
Measures 9 1/2" long, 5" high, 4 1/2" wide.  Weighs approx 9 lbs.
Condition is excellent.  It makes a very beautiful and interesting display.
I have no idea of what this was used for.  Perhaps part of an early spark transmitter.
