ANTIQUE GEORGIAN GOLD AGATE BATHURST FAMILY INTAGLIO SEAL FOB & SPLIT RING c1820
An antique English, very heavily gold filled fob (will be solid in parts) ; with beautifully hand chased detailing throughout its frame, and set with a bloodstone agate intaglio seal base, engraved with a the Bathurst family crest - an arm clad in armor wielding a club with spikes, and the family motto 'Tien ta foy' (Keep thy faith ). Hung on a solid 9 carat gold (tests) split ring.
High quality, deeply beautiful & very collectable...wearable too!
CONDITION
: All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Split ring slightly distorted.

: None.

: Around 1820/30. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 34 mm tall, base 21 x 19 mm, split ring outer diameter 25 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
