Antique Hand Painted Bluebird Pendant Pocket Watch Locket .  Gold Filled  Pocket Watch Bar Link Chain with  Slide & Swivel Hook
A beautiful, One of a Kind, Hand Painted Mother of Pearl Pocket Watch Locket.  The locket is created from an antique, pocket watch case. The watch case measures 1-1/4 inches in diameter and has the prettiest etched design, on the front and back. There is a hand painted design on MOP of a beautiful bluebird on a branch. The MOP has the natural luster in iridescent shades of pinks and greens. The painting is done in gouache, an ancient medium use to paint miniatures for hundreds of years. The painting has been sealed  and the  MOP disc has been affixed to the gold filled watch case and protected with glass watch crystal. The locket is suspended from a gorgeous  antique gold filled, etched slide watch chain, along with a swivel hook. The circular part of the chain measures 16 inches. The inside portion of the watch case is lined with abalone shell and signed (Guaranteed, NE, in a heart, 20 years).  The pocket watch case can be opened in the back to insert a keepsake or photo.  Once you fill it you can easily snap it closed. This is a beautiful OOAK piece assembled with all antique components.
