    Here we have for sale is an 18th century Augsburg, Germany pattern brass UNIVERSAL EQUINOCTIAL COMPASS SUNDIAL, signed L. T. M. (LUDIANS THEODOR MULLER, 1 7/8" (4.7 CM) wide.

    M”, gilt brass, folding plummet holder, hour ring and latitude
    Dial signed by master sundial maker L.T.M., for the Müller dynasty, end of the 18th century
    Chapters with the hours III-XII, I-IX, octagonal plate with leaf and geometric decoration, engraved latitude arc from 0 to 80 degrees, compact dial with four points and blue needle, with the engraving "Elev a Poli", with latitudes from 39 to 45 degrees and city names, inscribed with the signature L.T.M.
    No restorations. All original
    Ludovicus Theodatus Müller, also known with the name Ludwig Theodor Muller, lived in Augsburg from 1710-1770
