Description
Please have a look at all of my current listings. They are part of my 50 plus years of collecting to be listed (as time permits) over the coming weeks and months. My collection includes Antique items such as Military Items and Watches (all wars), Scientific Instruments, Radios, Bottles, Barometers, Surveying Instruments, Prohibition (and Pre-Prohibition) Whiskey, Art, Books, etc. I have fully packed storage boxes full of wonderful things that need to see the light of day once more. I simply do not have the room anymore (just ask my wife). It was really hard at first to part with my "treasures" but I find comfort knowing that they will be cared for by the new owners. Additionally, the kind messages I have received after delivery have meant the world to me making it easier and easier to part. Thanks to all the buyers for adopting and caring for bits of my collection. Let me know if you have any specific needs and I will try to list them. ENJOY!!!Very nice example of an early shagreen drafting set. The sharkskin covering is in good condition for its age. The only issues I can find on the case are a tear at he bottom corner and upper cover as seen in the photos. The cover hinge and lock are working fine. The fitted interior of the case is in good condition. All of the components can be seen in the photos so please look closely. The set has all of the needed instruments one would need. I can find no makers mark on any of the components. There is a brass shield on the top of the case but it has never been engraved. A truly wonderful example of an early drawing set. Measures 7 inches long by 3 inched wide at the top.
Sold as is. Return only if not as described and shown in photos. No Overseas/International shipping at this time. I am still fully employed and overseas shipping consumes too much time and can create issues. Shipping quote for lower 48 states only as others will be more. Many Thanks.
