    ESCRIPTION:
    Scans show it all.....kind of like a yearbook about this VERY FAMOUS TRAINING CAMP. MANY MEN, INCLUDING THE FAMOUS YANKEE DIVISION, TRAINED HERE. Also a famous camp during WWII and even still today.
    This great pictorial was published in April 20, 1918, Volume 1, #4. Just before the US troops went "OVER THERE" to join in the fight against the Germans. I am sure that some of the soldiers shown in these photos were involved in the fighting, and some died in it.
    Absolutely LOADED WITH PHOTOS showing different activities and training areas of Camp Dix. Also the nurses, barracks, facilities, etc. I have tried to show an idea of what is involved, although I can't come anywhere near conveying in this description and the photos a full idea. Hopefully you will get an idea, and I'm sure you will not be able to find a better publication about Camp Dix. A g

    Measures a whopping 15 1/2" x 11". 15 huge pages plus covers loaded with photos as well. QUITE SUITABLE FOR FRAMING OR JUST FOR READING & PERUSAL ENJOYMENT.
    As indicated, I can't come close to describing this well with limited photos and text, but it is a nice collector's item that you will like!
