National Park of American Samoa, founded in 1988, is one of America's National Parks and Monuments administered by the National Park Service.
It is located on the wet, tropical rain forested leased locations on four islands and is famous for coral reefs, birds, beaches, etc. Visitors can hike to scenic vistas and observe wildlife and birds. Many tourists scuba dive or snorkel in the warm waters. The visitors center is at Pago Pago. Boats bring visitors from the other island ports. The park has over 4,000 acres underwater. There are historic areas with artifacts
