Lab grown Alexandrite Laser crystal. Made by Northrop Grumman Space Technology.
The measurements of this ALEXANDRITE  Rod are 4mm x 96mm (.20)
The rod itself is flawless and is perfect for faceting. The color changes from deep purple to blue depending on the type of light available. There are 2 spots in the end coating making it defective for laser applications. It can be reworked and corrected however.
We are selling it
As-Is for the buyer to do with as they wish. If this were new without the coating defect the price would be considerably greater. We have seen these sell 4 to 00.00 or more.
