Pair 1950 Vintage New Jersey Car Motorcycle License Plate Barn Find Original

I have no idea about license plates and I don’t collect them I just bought these as part of an estate clean out, these are smaller than the others that I have so they might be for motorcycles?
No idea really, you would know best.
Original as found, sold as pictured. Obvious wear and dirty needs a good detailing and will absolutely clean up better than it currently is.
This was discovered in an old barn along with a few others which I am listing today, this is exactly as I found it.
