    Description

Item is an antique souvenir glass photo paperweight with the image of  "Old Mother Ann" Gloucester, Mass. with a schooner in the background circa 1910. "Mother Ann" is a rock formation that is located near the Eastern Point Lighthouse in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Local folklore also has it, that the formation represents the image of the royal mother of King Charles I, Anne of Denmark, after whom Cape Ann is named. The paperweight measures 4 inches long, 2 1/2 inches high, 3/4 inch thick. This scarce and collectable piece is in the marvelous antique original condition in which it was located in a local estate.
