    Description

    For sale is 1 set of 4 (four) new pulsed flashlamps type INP - 5/75, made in former USSR around years 80's. Their best use is to pump solid-state laser rods as Nd:YAG, Nd:glass, or ruby. Plasma discharge size: 5 mm dia. x 75 mm length, ideally should match the laser rod size. Recommended laser rod diameters 4 mm to 7 mm, and lengths 70 mm to 85 mm. New, never used, taken from their original boxes and partially cleaned (the last five pictures show a box before and after opening, and before cleaning the lamp). Total lamp length (with electrodes) 140 mm, outside flashlamp diameter 6.7 mm. Electrodes look identical, unsure whether the lamp is polarized or not. Usually, the vacuum "tip off" is near the cathode (negative) electrode. The following are the nominal parameters from the lamp data sheet: min. working voltage 600 V; self-igniting voltage min. 2.5 kV; max. pulse energy 120 J for min. 10

Recommended external trigger (0.3 mm - 0.5 mm Ni wire wrapped on the flashlamp by manufacturer).
