Fabulous!! Victorian Art Nouveau 14K Yellow Gold Vest Pocket Watch Chain with Four Fobs.
Longest length is about 6 1/2". Total weight is
20.7 gms. All testing was done with a digital gold tester. The chain itself measured 14K Gold. There is a teeny mark on the back side of the hand that looks like possibly some type of foreign mark that is impossible to read.
One of the chains has an enameled Art Nouveau Disc or Button. It has a tiny amount of enamel loss. The Enameled Disc tested at 14k. The Swivel Watch Clip that it is attached to is marked 'HDMCo' and is Rolled Gold. The next Swivel Watch Clip is marked '10k'.
At the end of the Closed Fist there is an attached link with a teeny, impossible to read mark that may be foreign. Then the Three Fobs...One is a Seal, one is a Barrel with Tassels and the last is a Watch Key. The Tassel Piece and the Seal test as 14K Gold. The Watch Key may be the most Fabulous looking one that I have ever seen...it is a Hand or Fist with what looks like Granulated Gold on the Hand but I was not able to get a Gold reading on this piece. Gold Granulation is generally 18K or above as anything less is generally not Suitable to be Granulated. I was not able to get a gold reading on this piece.
I hope that I have not confused anyone with the description but this is a complicated Watch Chain and I wanted to make sure that I described everything properly. I like to keep the pieces together that I find but if this Watch Chain does not sell as found, I may separate at some time in the future. It is a Stunning Period Piece just as I found it and could be rearranged for some Absolutely Devine Jewelry!!
