    s is a 1957  New Jersey Commercial base plate with a 1960 metal registration insert.I have owned this plate for  50 years. I got them from an Aunt that owned a school bus service from the 1940's through the early 1980's.  They were removed from service around the 1960 time frame and hung on a nail in the bus garages. Always garaged as the  school buses were.!
