4 Limited edition First day covers, or event covers commemorating the 125th anniversary of ZCMI (ZIONS CO-OPERATIVE MERCANTILE INSTITUTION), America's first department store.
Established in Utah October 1868 by Brigham Young, president of the LDS Church.
Each of the 1st day covers goes through different time periods and feature a unique vignette of the original architecture of the store in 1880; a delivery wagon drawn by horses; and Brigham Young, president and founder, and also comes in a legal size envelope with a beautiful vignette to store the 4 first day covers in.
Each stamp is unique and is 50 - 60 years old.
These covers are in mint condition and cancelled Oct.15,1993.
